Community Programs & Education Assistant (Summer 2026)

Join the Quinte Museum of Natural History this summer and gain hands-on experience in museum education, public engagement, and community outreach. You’ll support interactive programming tied to Expedition Alert and contribute to initiatives like Roots of Resilience, both on-site and out in the community.

Ideal for a post-secondary student interested in natural history, sustainability, and education, this is a dynamic, public-facing role with real-world impact.

This position is funded through Young Canada Works (YCW). Applicants must be registered in the YCW candidate inventory and meet all eligibility requirements (ages 16–30, legally entitled to work in Canada).

Museum Assistant (3 Positions – Summer 2026)

Join the Quinte Museum of Natural History this summer as a Museum Assistant and gain hands-on experience across visitor services, programming, events, and social media. From welcoming guests and running admissions to supporting events and creating digital content, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day life of a growing museum.

This is a dynamic, public-facing role ideal for a student interested in museums, education, or the natural sciences who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

These positions are funded through Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) and are subject to funding approval. Applicants must meet CSJ eligibility requirements, including being between 15–30 years of age and legally entitled to work in Canada.
