Directions & Parking

Parking is available in front of the building and along the right side of the building. Parking is completely free, however please keep in mind that the museum shares the building with other businesses, and so parking may be limited at times.

The museum is approximately:

• 2.5 hours east from Toronto
• 1.5 hours south from Peterborough
• 1 hour west from Kingston
• 3 hours west from Ottawa

Travelling West from Brighton/Cobourg/Oshawa/Toronto Area on the 401

Take exit 522 onto County Road 40
Follow County Road 40 for 3km to the intersection of County Road 40 and Highway 2. Turn left onto Highway 2 towards downtown Trenton
Follow Highway 2/Dundas St. West for 2km, and turn right at the intersection of Highway 2 and Dufferin Ave.
Follow Dufferin Ave for less than 1km, and the museum will be on your left. If you have gone around the bend in the road, you have gone too far.

Travelling East from Belleville/Kingston/Ottawa on the 401

Take exit 525 onto County Road 33, also referred to as Trenton-Frankford Road
At the roundabout, turn left onto Trenton Street
Follow Trenton Street/County Road 33 for approximately 2km
Turn right onto Division Street and follow for 0.5km
Turn right onto Dundas Street West and follow for 0.5km, and turn left at the intersection of Dundas Street West and Dufferin Ave
Follow Dufferin Ave for less than 1km, and the museum will be on your left. If you have gone around the bend in the road, you have gone too far.

Travelling South from The County/Carrying Place
Follow Loyalist Parkway to County Road 33/Carrying Place Road. Follow the road, and the museum will be on your right-hand side. If you have gone past Kruger Products, you have gone too far.
